Course Content:-

  1. Understanding how to differentiate symptom of Spinal stenosis with cauda equina syndrome in a spinal stenosis patient.
  2. Strategies to manage spinal stenosis in primary care.
  3. Role of MRI scan, bladder scan and Clinical examination and previous detailed history of bladder issue.
  4. When to send expedited referral to spinal unit vs direct referral to emergency department.

This session will be carried out by Mr Aziz Ahmad – Consultant Spinal Surgeon.
