Course Content:-

The course aim is to update participants to help them make safe prescribing decisions for sexual health and contraception.

This course will explore:

• Refresher of STIs and common genital conditions.
• Overview of treatment guidelines and evidence base.
• Prescribing in sexual health.
• Supporting patients.

By the end of the session participants will have an increased understanding of:

• STI and sexual attitudes.
• Supporting patients.
• Treatment of STIs, genital conditions and emergency contraception.
• Pharmacological and non-pharmacological interventions.
