Mental Capacity Act (MCA) Training

Course Content:-

This training is aimed at anyone working in GP practices across SNEE, that may have to assess someone’s capacity and is involved in making clinical decisions. 

Training is in addition to your mandatory Safeguarding and MCA training - it’s an opportunity to refresh your knowledge and skills. 

Training will be delivered by Browne Jacobson and the session will include:

• Covert Medication
• Completing Assessments - Best Interest Decisions
•  IMCAs
• COP DOLs - Responsibilities
•  Case Studies Primary Care - GPs, Nurses/Relevant case law for Primary care
