Are you a non-medical prescriber who may come into contact with people living with diabetes currently administering injectable therapies, or people administering injectable therapies to manage their weight?
Whether you are looking for a refresher (to stay up to date) or are new to injectable therapies for diabetes and weight management, this informative and relevant interactive course delves into initiation and titration of the different treatment options, whilst considering other co-existing health conditions (such as renal and cardiovascular).
It gives the tools for ‘playing detective’ and to collaboratively create a person-centred treatment plan and any necessary support with people being treated with injectable therapies or with their carer/guardian.
Educator and attendee ‘case studies/scenarios’ will be discussed to aid understanding and learning.
You will have the option to share ‘examples/scenarios’ with the educator in advance of the sessions which can then be discussed, if appropriate and there is time, with the group during the course.
Prior to the course, you will receive an email reminding you of the option of sharing your ‘scenarios’ for discussion and how to do this.
