The voluntary Quality and Outcomes Framework (QOF) annual reward and incentive programme is for all GP surgeries in England. It has been introduced to improve the quality of care patients are given by rewarding practices based on performance against a range of clinical and public health indicators.
Alongside QOF, GP practices are also required to demonstrate quality, safety, and effectiveness through regulatory frameworks such as Key Lines of Enquiry (KLOEs), as well as through internal audits and clinical system searches.
This session will provide a practical introduction to QOF, including how it works, how performance is measured, and how data is recorded.
It will also explore how QOF links with KLOEs, audits, and searches to support compliance, improve patient outcomes, and drive continuous improvement within General Practice.
Delegates will gain a clear understanding of how these elements work together and how they can contribute effectively within their role.
