This web workshop is designed as a refresher for those who have previously undertaken training in Medical Terminology and would benefit from revisiting and reinforcing their knowledge.
The session will consolidate understanding of the structure and meaning of medical terms, whilst refreshing key concepts such as roots, prefixes, suffixes, and commonly used terminology within General Practice.
It will also focus on applying terminology accurately and confidently in everyday scenarios. A strong understanding of medical terminology supports clear communication, improves accuracy in administrative tasks, and enhances the quality of patient care across Primary Care settings.
