Levelling-up Transgender, Non-binary & Gender Questioning people in Cancer Screening

Course Content:-

Join us for a 1-hour webinar on supporting trans and non-binary people to access screening and timely cancer diagnosis in primary care settings.

This session will equip you with the knowledge and confidence to support trans and non-binary people accessing screening programmes and in conversations around cancer risk and symptoms.

We will cover:

• Cancer risk factors in the trans and non-binary community
• Impact of gender affirming care on cancer risk and diagnosis
• Barriers to cervical, breast, bowel, and lung screening
• Approaches and adjustments to cancer screening to support trans and non-binary people
• Prostate cancer awareness and testing
• Endometrial and ovarian cancer risk and awareness
