Course Content:-

The Introduction to Menopause course is a 4-hour session aimed at Practice Nurses/Nurse Practitioners/Assistant Practitioners/Physicians associate etc who would like to extend their knowledge on the menopause and treatment options available for women. This will cover: definitions of menopause; impacts; symptoms; how to diagnose; treatment options available; HRT – risks vs benefits; risk assessment and prescribing safely and holistically; practical follow up requirements; testosterone; vaginal (GSM) issues; CBT; self-help; where to get help for you and your patients. Case studies to discuss and a Q+A session at the end.
