Frequently we find ourselves supervising learners from culturally diverse backgrounds; whether because they are new to the NHS from overseas; or transferring from another specialty with a different NHS 'culture'; or just individuals with differing experiences and expectations of life and their career.
This interactive workshop focuses on how to build an effective educator/learner relationship by fostering an understanding and appreciation of cultural diversity, looking at differences in communication styles, and creating a psychologically safe environment to explore those differences
