Delivered by OUTpatients, the UK’s LGBTQIA+ cancer charity led by and for LGBTIQ+ people affected by cancer, this session will explore cancer risk factors, the impact of gender-affirming care, barriers to screening, and inclusive approaches to cervical, breast, bowel, lung, prostate, endometrial, and ovarian cancer awareness and screening.
Building on The OutHouse’s existing Levelling-up transgender healthcare training, this session is designed for those with prior knowledge of trans-inclusive language and communication.
