Part 2/3 Course program giving an overview and awareness into Trans, Non-Binary, and Gender questioning Healthcare and practice. It is encouraged to book onto all 3 modules to complete the program.
This module develops knowledge and skills to support TNBGQ and wider LGBTQIA+ communities through culturally competent, person-centred practice. It explores the importance of inclusive language, intersectionality, and the impact of minority stress, while highlighting legal and ethical duties under UK law.
Participants learn how to create affirming environments, provide equitable access to services, and understand experiences of long waits for gender-affirming care.
Through case studies, the module demonstrates how practitioner attitudes directly influence trust, safety, and health outcomes, equipping learners to deliver respectful, inclusive, and effective support.
