Course Content:-

This session will be led by a Gender Specialist who will explore the issues in delivering good quality and safe care to individuals who are transitioning or have transitioned.

Topics to be covered:

• Early health issues to explore prior to referral.
• Hormones prescribing under prescribing support.
• Screening and subsequent health care support in Primary Care whilst transitioning.
• Ongoing healthcare needs once someone has transitioned.
