This web workshop is designed as a refresher for non-clinical primary care staff who have previously undertaken Clinical Coding training or who use coding as part of their role.
The session will revisit the core principles of Clinical Coding and SNOMED CT, reinforce best practice, and provide updates on current standards and expectations within General Practice.
It will also focus on improving consistency, accuracy, and confidence in day-to-day coding activities. SNOMED CT (Systematised Nomenclature of Medicine - Clinical Terms) continues to be the standard clinical terminology used across the NHS.
This session will revisit its structure and practical application, ensuring delegates are coding effectively and making best use of clinical systems.
